FTTH Network Mapper

An interactive mapping workspace for fiber-to-the-home networks — plan nodes, routes, and house passes, then export for the field.

Role: Full-stack builder Stack: JS · PHP · Maps · GIS Type: Web tool

Problem

Fiber design data lived across drawings, KML files, and spreadsheets. Field and office teams needed one place to see network layout and export clean deliverables without jumping between tools.

Solution

Built a browser-based mapper with map layers, node/route drawing, and export paths (KML / GeoJSON style workflows). Vibe-coded the UI and API pieces quickly, then refined interactions for real planning use.

  • Interactive map canvas for outside plant elements
  • Lightweight PHP API for persistence and exports
  • Field-friendly export flow
  • AI-assisted iteration for UI and edge cases

Result

A working internal-style tool that turns messy spatial data into a clearer planning surface. Demonstrates junior-level full-stack skill: HTML/CSS/JS, PHP, and GIS-aware product thinking.
